You cut me off mid-funk

As it's exam time, I recently rewatched the whole series of Freaks and Geeks.

My mom recently came across some old rubber stamp catalogues, which show all the designs you can get and so are basically just pages and pages of weird black line drawings. Rubber stamps were a pretty big fad in America for a while and we have drawers full of them and practically crates more of them in the basement. The catalogues were amazing to trawl through and amazing to copy but my favourites were by Ken Brown because of the sheer weirdness of some of them, particularly one of a family of carrots skipping and playing musical instruments.

These are a couple pages from one of my sketchbooks, this one in particular is an old book I got from a charity shop which I love using as it makes every page look interesting without trying and ofter you can incorporate the actual bits from the pages into what you're doing.
Pressed leaves from our blueberry bush and fineliner copy of a sly-looking artistic dog with fetching beret.

More pressed flowers and pen and watercolour copy of a man on school graph paper.
I went to use just some grey watercolour on him just to add shading, but the blue dye of the printed lines dissolved in the water and made it blue instead. I actually really like the effect; it reminds me of the drawings from Ghost World.
